This unique red wine from the Valpolicella area is made by grapes dried up to three months before being pressed. The technique of fermenting these semi-dried grapes makes a very strong wine, velvety in texture, filled with burnt plum flavors, and slightly higher in alcohol. Cesari Amarone is great with a rich meal of strong meats and aged cheeses.
