With vines dating back to 1946, when it served as a private vineyard estate, this remarkable property was redeveloped in 2002 by the grandson of golf legend José Jurado; "The father of Argentine Professional Golf". Jurado established “Viñas del Golf”; a boutique family winery, golf course, and petite hotel lodge situated in a fully-restored 1921 farmhouse.

Famatina, within the La Rioja region of Argentina, sits in a remote valley in the Andean foothills. Conditions are harsh, with summer temperatures reaching up to 45 ºC and only 7 inches of rain per year. However, the altitude (900 - 1,400 m.a.s.l.) offers dry winds, cooler nights and wide diurnal temperature variation that support a long growing season allowing grapes to develop complex flavours and greater acidity. Bodega Piedra Negra Uco Valley

One of Uco Valley’s most desirable subregions, Los Chacayes is located in the centre of the Tunuyán region. An IG since 2017, it has only around 1,000 hectares of its alluvial soil under vine. Vineyards are planted at 1,100 - 1,500 m.a.s.l and experience day/night temperature variations of 10-15°C, supporting development of aromatic compounds and phenolic maturation for good colour and tannin.
